Background Information:

For over 25 successful years, Ruth Cole worked in a variety of leadership and training positions for Fortune 500 companies. She left corporate America to follow her heart's desire: to speak and educate about Emotional Abuse.

Presently, Ruth is an accredited life coach and a consultant on Emotional Abuse in Denver, Colorado and Minneapolis, Minnesota. She conducts several community workshops per year to help women clients who have self esteem issues as well as backgrounds of Emotional Abuse.

  • Serves on the Board of Director's of the Women's Crisis and Family Outreach Center, Castle Rock, Colorado and currently as Vice President. (2005-2007)
  • Active member of Colorado Organization for Victim's Assistance. (2004-2007)

  • Keynote speaker for Colorado Organization for Victim's Assistance (COVA) Victims Advocate Training Academy. (2002-2005)
  • A primary participant in the 30-minute documentary: "DC-8 Domestic Violence; Opening the Blinds on Domestic Violence". Aired on a local Denver, Colorado public service/cable station. (October 2005)
  • Guest speaker at both Jefferson County and Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office victim's advocate meetings. (August 2005/February 2006)
  • Invited presenter and dedication recipient at the "Stop Family Violence" postage stamp proclamation at the Colorado State Capital. Co-speakers were the governor of Colorado, State House Representative Sherry Jahn and the director of Colorado Coalition Against Domestic Violence. (March 2004)
  • Participated on a speaker's panel for the 18th Judicial District Volunteer Victim's Advocate training. (2003)
  • Partnered the inception and training of the Women's Crisis and Family Outreach Center Speaker's Bureau, a community outreach group focusing on Domestic Violence education. Remains an active participant with the Speaker's Bureau. (2002-2007)
